Being A People Of Peace

Yes, these days are almost unbelievable, but regardless of the circumstances we face, we are called to live a life worthy of the call that is our in Christ Jesus. Paul writes this truth in Ephesians 4. In Philippians we see that our Reasonableness is to be evident to all. When people hear us as the church talk, plan, keep up with the news and look to the days ahead, what do they hear from us? My prayer is that they see a church family full of peace and desire to be in community even if it looks a little different than it did last week. This is our call Lighthouse! This is our time to be a Light in our community! You can be a person of peace to your neighbors, co-workers, children … A person of peace brings life and hope in situations where people are searching. Yes, people are searching and we have the Answer!

Over the next few weeks we will face challenges for sure. Will you join me in taking these prayers before the Lord and receiving a peace that surpasses all of our understanding?

Here is the link to our special video and study notes that we are sharing with our congregation that includes a timely message from Jon, as well as a few worship songs:

Our prayer is that you will watch the video with your family and then continue in community with others in Life Group, video discussions, phone calls, text groups … in order to stay in community! Trying to make it through days like this alone will make life miserable and very difficult. Let’s keep the Lighthouse Family together! Along with this video you will see discussion questions and ways to contact me if you wish to have further discussions.

I am praying daily for you and I pray that you are praying for us as well! The staff and elders of our church family are here for you! Your Life Group Leaders are here for you! I love our church family and look forward to the time where we will sit in those red chairs and worship the Lord together. Until then keep your focus on the Lord and His Faithfulness.
