Famine is now full force and the nations are coming to Egypt to buy food. The plan that Joseph put into place is working and the nations can come to Egypt and not die. Jacob sends his sons to Egypt to buy food not knowing this was going to be the beginning of their redemptive process. Often times of difficulty lead us towards repentance – turning homeward to God. As we continue this incredible story, let’s look at our lives and ask ourselves, does my sin break my heart? We can also ask ourselves, does the sin of people around me break my heart?
